The Wedding Startup - Strawberry Maple is born
Andrew & Lydia met in 2016, and became pawrents to Cavapoo Maple in 2018. Maple is the heart of the home and everyone who she meets loves her instantly; Strawberry blonde in colour, she is a bundle of joy. Fast forward to 2023; Andrew & Lydia decide to tie the knot and realised that wedding decor is pretty expensive.
We picked up table centres from London, and set about re-imagining them for our wedding. Once complete, we felt we could offer something pretty special to the wedding industry and so Strawberry Maple was born!
We’ve gone from strength to strength, working with our own suppliers to build relationships, but this industry is “dog eat dog”, and is pretty competitive. We create our own decor, and we want to make a meaningful impact to other couples like us who want something “different” to the norm which is always recommended on socials. Give the little guy a chance, we promise we’ll create something you’ll love and be proud of on your special day.
Andrew deals with the day to day running of the business, including creating the decor (with Lydia’s input and occasional help of course!), the driving, and the techy bits. Lydia likes to delve into socials to find inspiration, and gives input into the socials, and responds to any enquiries we receive. Maple just likes to look pretty amongst the flowers and gives us the drive to keep going.
